Looking for DAB Test Equipment ?  The TC-2300A Digital Audio Broadcasting ( DAB / DMB ) tester combines all the test features required for DAB / DMB testing within a single unit. Designed for manufacturing,, R&D, QA and service center applications. The instrument is lightweight, portable and may be operated from all standard AC supplies. The TC-2300A DAB / DMB tester supports not only Eureka-147 protocol encoder but also RF up-converter which supports Band II, III, L with output power control from 0dBm to -120dBm in 0.1dB resolution. In addition to complete Digital Audio Broadcasting testing applications, the TC-2300A has an Audio Analyzer function for testing audio signal from the DUT speaker or earphone jack. The TC-2300A provides an ideal solution for many practical applications.

     TYPICAL TEST SETUP
    Example 1

    Typical Test Setup for manufacturing application is shown below. This set up enables simultaneously testing several DUTs.

    TC-2300A sends an internally generated single frequency tone to DUT via the RF Divider. The Audio MUX receives the tone signals produced by the earphones. Tone from DUTs are multiplexed and send to 2300A for individual SINAD or THD tests. The sensitivity of DUTs can be measured by decreasing the RF output level of TC-2300A.

    Typical test setup for R&D is shown below.

    TC-2300A has a user-friendly GUI that allows users to edit Eureka-147 protocol parameters. The TC-2300A also can encode MPEG-1/2 can be transmitted via high speed RF-232C.
